The Acoustical Design Of Private Cinema Needs To Be Solved
- Oct 03, 2020-

1. Acoustic treatment

When it comes to acoustic processing, reverb time is a must. Reverberation time is an important evaluation index of hall sound quality or room sound quality. Reverberation time has a crucial influence on listening effect, because it is still the most important reference value to describe indoor sound quality conditions.

2. Sound absorption processing

Sound absorption is the phenomenon of energy loss after sound wave hits the material surface. It can reduce the indoor sound pressure level. The absorption coefficient varies because of the different frequencies. The sound absorption coefficient frequency characteristic curve is used to describe the sound absorption performance of materials at different frequencies. To reduce the echo caused by sound waves hitting the wall, a variety of acoustic treatments, such as diffused walls or sound-absorbing treatments, can be applied to the wall.

3. Diffusion treatment

Diffusion is the phenomenon of irregular reflection, refraction and diffraction of sound in many directions. Diffusion can make the sound field in a room even. Sound diffusion can improve the distribution of indoor sound field, shorten the difference between front and rear sound levels, adjust the balance of clarity and fullness, eliminate echo and suppress acoustic feedback. In general, the purpose of using diffuser is to supplement the deficiency of a certain sound frequency band in a room by using diffuser of specific materials, so as to achieve a state of balance.

4. Standing wave processing

The overall timbre of low-frequency room depends on the low-frequency standing wave of the room. Only by reducing the influence of low-frequency standing wave can the low-frequency effect be improved. Therefore, the elimination of standing waves in a room is mainly carried out for the low frequency part.
